Mr. Williams has a long background in Radio both on the air as a “Newscaster” and “Disc Jockey” and behind the scenes in sales and production. He began with Radio stations in Indianapolis and the central Indiana area from 1967 to 1975. The top was WIRE 1430AM, the top country station of its day in Indianapolis.
Mr. Williams was a national sales manager for two different Aerial Lift Manufactures and traveled the USA and Canada in this capacity for many years. Mr. Williams has always been involved with horses. Since age 6 to the present, he has done many different things with horses. Parades from the Indianapolis 500 Parade to the Rose Bowl Parade, exhibited in Open and Palomino shows, and most recently, he and wife Pat pay tribute to Roy Rogers and Dale Evans on Horseback with Silver Saddles and costumes of the era.
Mr. Williams began mixing his announcing background with horses as the “Voice of the Midwest Horse Fair” in Madison, WI about 15 years ago. He rapidly gained exposure and now is the main announcer for the following: Horse World Expo-Baltimore, Horse World Expo-Harrisburg, Virginia Equine Extravaganza, Richmond, Alabama Horse Fair-Montgomery, Hoosier Horse Fair-Indianapolis, Northern Illinois Horse Fest-Belvidere, North Dakota Horse Fest-Minot, Arkansas Hooffest-Little Rock, Rocky Mountain Horse Expo-Denver, Rocky Mountain Horse Expo-Grand Junction, Rocky Mountain Horse Expo-Durango, New Mexico Horse Fair-Albuquerque, North Carolina Southern Horse Festival- Raleigh, North Iowa Horse Fair-Mason City, Western States Horse Expo-Sacramento CA, Tennessee Volunteer Horse Fair-Nashville, and worked with Equitana and Equwest in Louisville and San Diego for as long as they existed.
