Rounder is 15.3, stout, smooth riding, gentle, with good bone and good feet.  He’s excellent on mountain trails, leads pack strings and has been on hunting trips.  We’ve gathered cattle on him and started him ranch roping.  He stands hobbled and is easy to shoe.  Presently he’s being ridden in the 2 reins but handles nicely in a gentle intermediate bit.  He is very social in the pasture with other horses.  HYPP: N/N

“Dee Black” as named by my daughter, is a good solid heel horse. He is just as good at heading as he is at heeling but I have primarily healed off of him. He is good in the box and has a lot speed.  This horse has got a good disposition and is quiet to be around but has a lot of heart and determination.  I can put my kids on with me, he has been ridden in posse, been used at countless brandings, and had a lot of miles put on him in the mountains both trail riding and gathering cows with my son, who is 3, on with me. 

This is the last of my White Tie mares.  I saved the best for last.  She is one of the nices, big, elegant, heavy boned White Tie mares we have ever seen.  She has got it all.  Our only regret is not going on to ride her.  This mare is gorgeous, an easy breeder and a really easy keeper.  Her sire, White Tie held numerous track records and so have his offspring.  We have rode many of the half brothers, and they have all been exceptional horses. “Frost” is an athletic, pretty moving filly with good feet and legs.  She is registered brown but she is a very striking with all of her “frosting”.  She is by Simply A Spark, a full brother to Shining Spark, one of the biggest names in the performance horse industry, and out of a money earning and producing working cow horse dam.  Under saddle 90 days, she has been ridden in the arena and outside over lots of terrain.  Clips, bathes, ties, and hauls. 

Easy is a professionally trained tobiano mare.  She has been cut on, roped off, used as turn back horse and can run a reining pattern.  She is on her way to becoming a great all around horse! 

Little John is an 8 year old, unregistered  paint gelding.  Stands 15.2 hands, approximately 1200 lbs. He is a good ranch horse, used in rugged country and is very sure-footed.  Little John has roping, team penning and mounted shooting experience.  His power, acceleration, and athleticism is at the top of the scale.   This gelding is easy to shoe, load, tie, with good ground manners.  He has a light handle, and is suitable for an intermediate or better rider.

Zip" is 15 hands and 1000 pounds. We have owned him since he was a 2 year old and he will turn 5 the day before the sale. In that time he has always been very gentle and easy going. He is a good looking horse with his four white socks and unique face marking. You can do anything on him.... gather cattle, brand calves, trail ride, arena, etc. In December we started heading on him and he has been coming along very nicely. This cute buckskin has had cutting training he was my best three year old last year and we just ran out of time to get him finished to show. He is a really athletic horse but not for the beginner. This horse is very quick but is also very broke. If you can pull on the reins or lay them on his neck he will go anywhere you tell him.  He has been in Colorado trails and packed.

'Salty' is a stocky, gentle pony. She has a soft, responsive mouth and is easy for the kids to ride. This big beautiful mare is bred to work all day and built to back up that breeding. Easy to get a long with and teach new things too. Done a lot of outside riding gathered a lot of cattle. This is a broke gelding.  I’ve been branding & ranching on him for the past year.  He is started heeling, although he’s the kind of horse you can do anything on and use in every event.  Whether you ride him everyday, or twice a year he’s a good, gentle, all-around horse.

Apache is an easy keeper and will meet you at the gate every morning. This outstanding family horse also offers up awesome talents. He walks out nice on a trail, he has packed elk and deer for miles and he hi-lines and hobbles too. Apache can drag a calf to the fire and has some arena roping experience. His forte is gathering cattle in the Sierra Nevada Foothills! This Big Gelding has no bad habits and is 100% sound.

“Chips” is a flashy palomino gelding with tons of chrome.  He has 120 days professional training with lots of talent showing.  He has great personality, very kind and loves to please people.  He is double registered, AQHA and PHBA, with big bones and great athletic ability.  He has a nice conformation with a big hip and pretty head.  This beautiful palomino has a lot of potential and can go any direction. 

Smoky is a very quiet, gentle, versatile horse. He has gathered cattle in steep country, roped lots of cattle both inside and outside the arena, as well as hunting elk on him. He has been hauled over to get exposed.  I have branded and sorted on him. Smoky has all the speed you need and he is oh so smooth.  He is very willing to do any job. Watch for him in the trail class for junior riders, in the heading preview and being flagged off in the Showdown.  He is one of the most fun young horses we’ve had in a long time.  I really believe he is the best head horse prospect I have ever seen-for any level as he is so easy to get the shot off. 

Vanna is one of youner horses.  She is started good and making a nice ranch horse.  She is extremely cowy and will cut a cow or a bull.  Has been rode in the mountains and high desert and can cover the ground.  We think she will make an excellent working cow horse prospect because she has so much cow.  She is small but has loads of heart.  Easy to load, shoe, and catch.  She is quick and will be great for anyone who can ride a young horse.  No buck.

Nic is  a 5 yr old sorrel gelding who be great for anyone to ride.  He is easy going, horseback or on the ground.  He was shown at the Snaffle Bit Futurity as a three yr old and shown at other NRCHA events.  He has been hauled a bunch.  He is pastured with geldings and mares.  Nic is a type of horse that can be turned out for six months, caught, hobbled and ridden without problems. 

Here’s a colorful dapple gray gelding with a big hip!  He was started as a 2yr old and rode ever since in the arena and lots of outside miles.  He’s got an excellent disposition; good to shoe & catch.  I’ve been roping the Heel O Matic, burro, and started him on cattle.  By sale time, we’ll have been to a few calf brandings.  He has tons of potential to be any kind of arena, ranch, or all around using horse.  He has no bad habits.  Take a llok at this good looking gray gelding, he’s an excellent prospect!

This is a  big Stout gelding.  He’s been used to gather, sort, and doctor cattle.  He’s been rode in the mountains and out in the brush.  He’s a gentle horse without any bad habits.  This Big, pretty horse would make someone an excellent rope, ranch or all around good using horse.  He has lots of potential and is easy to be around; don’t miss this awesome prospect.

This mare is born to produce the next great rope horse generation.  She has good bone, good shape, and good color.  She moves like greased lightening with a fast low stride. 8 year old grade gelding, stands 15.3 and weighs 1200 pounds. We raised this gelding out of Chickaro Bill and Music Mount stock.  Long Shot was started by a good hand and has been ridden by good hands. He has been used for all around ranch work: sorting, outside roping and doctoring, branding, feedlot, and Ranch Roping and Ranch Rodeo competitions.  Long Shot was used by the captain of a Ranch Rodeo Team in all the events locally and at the finals in Amarillo Texas. Long Shot’s long suit is working and roping cattle outside and has been used for several summers taking care of 18,000 yearlings.  He has never bucked a jump in his life.  Rides in a bosal, snaffle, or up to a spade bit and is excellent to shoe.  He is gets along good with other horses, has good barn manners and has spent a lot of time in a large ranch horse cavvy.  He has no scars or blemishes and has never taken a lame step in his life. He is easy to catch in a corral with other horses. Parkfield Pete is 16 hands and has the 1250 frame to match. He is a great all- around ranch horse. You can take him to gather, sort, rope and then brand on him. He'll patiently hold the rope for you while you doctor sick cattle in the pen, or out alone in the hills. He is very cowy, and has countless hours both heading and heeling in the branding pen and rodeo arena. Pete has spent alot of time in the mountains and is sure footed. He has no problem crossing streams or heavy, boggy ground. He is comfortable in the most rugged terrain. Elvis is a gentle giant.  He stands 17 hands and weighs 1500 lbs.  He’s branded calves and been in rough country a lot.  He’s big enough to pack a Big Man and gentle enough to pack a kid.

Piute is a nice 15.2 hand gelding that has been used on the ranch and started heading off him.  This may not be the greatest picture, but check him out in the heading.  We really like this horse. 

This horse is the legend known as “Red Bird”.  This is the nicest Bridle gelding I’ve made yet.  He’s won several bridle horse competitions as well as the Super Horse Award.  He was in the movie Tapadero and also featured on Americas Horse with Jeff Meadors in Amarillo at the World Ranch Rodeo Finals.  This horse has more cow than most cows.

Calico is a 15 yr. old mare zorse.  She is by a zebra stud and out of a quarter horse mare.  She is built like a quarter horse and has every stripe that a zebra does.  She spins, slides, and neck reins.  She is safe for anyone to ride saddled or bareback.  She has won western pleasure at the world show in Houston, TX and in Columbia, TN.  She drives with her half sister, Cinnamon.  They won the chariot steer stopping at Bishop Mule Days in '07.  Their turnability, back up, speed, and control in the harness is unparalleled.  They have been used to disc the arena and drag timber on job sites.  They pull down city streets or snowy hill sides.  For more information call: 916-812-3854 or visit: www.michaelmastagnimuleco.com. 

This horse is gentle, people friendly, easy to shoe, and clip.  As a head horse he has been hauled to jackpots.  You can heel, gather and calf brand on him.
