This Year's Extreme Equine Experience
Takes you for a thrill ride!  Pat Hooks is signed on to compete and will bear watching.  Two more contestants will be revealed this fall.  Keep checking in to learn who else will be converging upon the Central Coast to compete for Cash, Prizes, and of course, Added Fame!

The horses are tougher, the time is more energized, and the judging is sharp.   Chris Cox, former champion of the Extreme Equine Experience and winner of the 2007 Road to the Horse, will lead us through the action as each man draws a 3 year old un-started colt. Don’t miss the Extreme Excitement in all three pens of the Extreme Equine Experience!

Ranch Horse Showdown
The excitement begins on Friday morning when you can get a sneak preview as the horses arrive, and talk to the owner's and trainers to start narrowing down your favorites. That night check out the Ranch Horse Showdown to see the horses in action--this won't be for the faint of heart. The Famous California Cowgirls will dazzle you from the start.   The Showdown takes on a few twists this year.  The Extreme Equine Experience draw will go down.  Watch as the competitors see the horse they’ve drawn for the first time—then get into the action by purchasing your favorite man and horse team in the Calcutta!  Then hold on to your hats, The Equine Experience is proudly bringing Cowboy Relay Races!  The Showdown will demonstrate the horses in a short reining pattern, then they’ll be grouped up to Team Sort!  This show merges Thrills, Cowboy Lifestyle, and just plain Fun!

You'd have never guessed what we've been hiding in the vineyards.

See Morgans to Mini's, Gypsy's, Paints, Kigers, Quarter Horses, Draft Horses, Arabians to Aztecas and more.  These beauties will be presented in the all weekend, and in daily showcases throughout the grounds.

Select Horse Sale
The Select Horse Sale is a premier event at the Equine Experience where only the finest Ranch Horses, Rope Horses, Reined Cow Horses, Trail Horses, Brood Mares and Foals will be put on the auction block and sold to the highest bidder. The horses will be previewed at intervals throughout the day and John E. Johnson, well-known throughout the horse world, will be studying each horse and leading you through the string. Nationally known auctioneer Trent Stewart will be calling all the action, and only the best of the best will be on hand to guide you though this first class sale. This is a must see Horse Sale.

Horses in the Select Horse Sale have been carefully chosen. An extensive interview and screening process for owners and their horses has been established to ensure only the highest quality horses are on the block. See them and judge them yourself at the previews. Then talk to the owners around the barn. We are sure you'll be impressed by the selection!
